John Leyden
AGE: 91 • Williamstown
John "Jack" Leyden, age 91, of Williamstown peacefully departed this life surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 7, 2012.
He was predeceased by his daughter Eileen Testa. He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Helen Leyden, by his son-in law Thomas Testa, by nine children and their spouses Warren and Kathleen Benedetto, John and Cecilia Brennan, Philipp and Patricia DuVilla, John and Elaine Leyden, Timothy and Brenda Leyden, Michael and Geraldine Raber, Frank and Rosemary Munno, Douglas and Annemarie Shinn, and Brian and Marie Leyden, along with twenty five grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Jack was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Betty Leyden.
Jack was born in Philadelphia and resided in Williamstown for more than 60 years. He enlisted in United States Navy at the age of twenty where he was a Mustanger and retired as Lieutenant Commander after proudly serving his country for over thirty years. Jack was an ordained minister serving the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden for 30 years and was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church/Our Lady of Peace Parish. He received his Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Glassboro State College. As a very active member of the community he was involved in numerous organizations, including the Knights of Columbus, the Gloucester County Environmental Commission, and a Family Courts volunteer. Among his many successes and accomplishments he was a skilled carpenter who built his own house-the house that Jack built.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, formerly of Yeadon, PA, John has lived in Williamstown for over 29 years. John served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. Prior to retiring, John was a dealer/supervisor at Bally's Park Place Casino in Atlantic City. John was an avid fan of Horse Racing.

Stewart (Brenda) of Nashua, NH, Joseph F. Stewart (Carol) of Venice, FL and Thomas J. Stewart of Williamstown, NJ. He also has 21 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Stewart was awarded the Purple Heart Medal and a Bronze Star while serving with the US Army during World War II. Thomas worked for 30 years as a telephone installer for Western Electric, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies before retiring in 1992. He was a member of the American Legion Post 252 in Williamstown. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, little league coaching and was a fan of the Phillies and Eagles. He was the owner of Walter Dare Trucking and drove 18 wheelers for 14 years. In his later years he was a dispatcher for both the Franklin Township and Clayton Police Departments. Born May 4, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA, Donald resided in Williamstown, NJ for 51 years. Donald served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1949-1953. Prior to retiring he worked for Bell Telephone Co. of PA. He was a member of the S.N.J. Boy Scouts of America serving as a Boy Scout, Leader, Training Instructor, Scout Master and Commissioner. He was a member of Telephone Pioneer of America-Philadelphia, Life member American Legion 252, Life member V.F.W. Post 1616, Military order of the Cootie Post 29, Monroe Township Youth Soccer-Maintenance and the New Brooklyn United Methodist Church-Williamstown.

Eugene J. Feeney, Sr., age 90, of Greenwich Twp, NJ. Predeceased by his wife, Maryann Feeney. He was formerly a long time resident of Riverton, NJ. Born in Waterbury, CT, January, 1925, he passed away peacefully on 9/23/2015. Survived by his children; Daniel Feeney (Cindy), Linda Tentilucci (Carl), Frances Stewart (David), Timothy Feeney (Colleen) and Sommer Feeney. He was predeceased by his first wife Evelyn (Santry) Feeney, their sons Joseph, Eugene Jr., Michael, and their daughter Mary. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great -grandchildren. He graduated from Roman Catholic HS in 1943. He was a decorated Veteran of WWII, served in the Army Air Corps - Eighth Air Force, as a waist gunner. He graduated in 1951 from Villanova University. He worked until his 80th birthday with a long career at Acme Markets.

John Correale, 89, on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home of Vineland.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, John lived in Philadelphia for 66 years before moving to Williamstown in 1989. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII and a lifelong member of the American Legion. He retired from Philadelphia Gas Works after 33 years of service. John enjoyed trips to the casino, baseball, traveling and spending time with his family.
Beloved husband of the late Ella Marie (nee Everman). Devoted father of Marie (Thomas) Hanley, Stephen (Patricia) Correale, Kathleen Correale and Christopher Correale. Edward J. Omrod, on November 2, 2012, of Williamstown. Age 66. Beloved son of the late William and Bertha (nee Mulholland) Omrod. Dear brother of Sandra Snow, Harold and William. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Ed was a US Navy veteran and served during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked at Modern Handling Equipment Co. for 25 years and Gloucester Terminals for 13 years.

Of Williamstown, NJ, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2012. Born in Cross Keys, he lived in Cecil before moving to Williamstown. Mr. Owens worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass before retiring. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post# 252, the Good Guys Car Club and the First United Methodist Church of Williamstown.

Bruno Bolinsky
Bruno B. Bolinsky, 71, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away Friday evening in Beaver Township, PA where he had resided for the past several months. Born in Beaver Township, August 6, 1940, he was the beloved son of the late Bernard and Irene (Lesnefsky) Bolinsky. After retiring as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service in New Jersey he had worked at the Gleason's Bar and Grill Clayton, NJ. He had served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Bloomsburg, American legion Post 152 and VFW Post #1616, Williamstown, NJ, Clayton Elks Clayton, NJ and also volunteered for the St. Mary's Church Carnival and with many organizations through out his life. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his beloved brothers Allen and Henry. Surviving are his dearest brother Kevin, Lawton, OK; and three sisters Sylvia Comerford, Buena, NJ; and Marcia Bolinsky and Sharon Muller, both of Williamstown, NJ. He was a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mr. Cattell worked for General Electric for 37 years before retiring. After retirement he drove a school bus for the State of New Jersey for 10 years. He served on the Monroe Twp. Police Reserves for 25 years and on the Monroe Twp. Ambulance Squad for 25 years. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Williamstown. Mr. Cattell helped to form the Monroe Twp. Midget Football program, was one of the founding fathers of BSA Troop # 234, Monroe Twp. Man of the Year in 1976, Monroe Twp. Health Inspector, former Flotilla Commander of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Post #35, past president of GE Quarter Century Club and past president of the GE Retirees Club. He enjoyed deep sea fishing and the Philadelphia Eagles. Beloved husband for 55 years of the late Ruth E. Cattell (nee Anderson). Devoted father of Robert Cattell (Rose), James Cattell (Paula) and Susan Plescia (Joseph). Dear brother of Joan. John Dorn of Glassboro, NJ on August 17, 2012; Husband of the late Sadie Randall Dorn, he was 88 years old. Mr. Dorn was the plant manager for Owens- Illinois Inc. for 37 years; and the chairman of the Trustees Board of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Glassboro for 40 years. He also served in the United States Army from 1940 to 1952. He is survived by his brother, Melvin Dorn; 3 god-daughters, Chasitie Goode, Angela White and Richardnetta Jacobs; brother-in-law, Bruce Goode; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, his church family and friends. Services: Saturday 11 am at the Emmanuel Baptist Church 300 Higgins Drive Glassboro, NJ where friends may call after 9 am. Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park Hurffville, NJ. HINGSTON, Dr. William L. Age 88, beloved physician, father, husband, grandfather, great grand-father and friend passed away on May 5, 2010. Born in Bayonne, NJ, William was the son of Samuel A. Hingston and Margaret Erhardt Hingston. He grew up with his two sisters, Marjorie and Patricia, in Maplewood, NJ and graduated from Columbia High School in 1940. He graduated from Lafayette College in three years and attended New York University Medical School, graduating in 1946. Right out of Medical School, he enlisted in the US Army as a medical doctor and was transferred to the Eastern Pennsylvania Military District in Philadelphia where he was discharged from the military with a rank of captain. He decided to stay in the greater Philadelphia area, taking over the Medical Family Practice of Dr. Horace Fooder on Main Street in Williamstown, NJ. He continued in this practice which was attached to his residence, for 63 years, retiring in November of 2009. He was committed to going on house calls to patients throughout his entire career. During his years as a doctor in Williamstown, William "Doc" was on staff at Cooper Medical Center in Camden NJ. In 1957, he became the first doctor in South Jersey to receive a specialty in Internal Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. He served as Chief of Medicine at Cooper Medical Center for many years, was a clinical instructor for medical students from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and was also on staff at Underwood Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. He always felt a deep loyalty to his patients and used his gifts of diagnosis to treat any and all people who sought his help. In 1982, he became Medical Director of Lakeland Camden County Health Services, and retired from this position in 1992. On June 3, 1945, he married Helene Walpole. With Helene he had 7 children: William II, Geoffrey, Alicia, Timothy, Richard, Michael and Thomas. He was a loving father, coached little league baseball, enjoyed time at Culver Lake during the summer and was an avid ice skater. He enjoyed all sports and was a firm believer in exercise. Helene predeceased him in 1988. In 1992, he married Lois Crawford who has 4 children: Daniel, Debrah, Steven and Kim. Between the two of them, they have 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. They will especially miss his unfailing attendance at sports events for his children and grandchildren, his active social life on Main Street, arm wrestling, singing along with "Heart of My Heart", his headstands, his capacity to hold his breath for an underwater swim and his perseverance with his grassy lawn. Main St., Williamstown and Monday 9:00-10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church/Our Lady of Peace Parish, Main St. and Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Vincent was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Prior to retiring, Vincent was a brick mason for over 50 years operating his own masonry business, Recal Construction Company and affiliated with Brick Homes of Cherry Hill.
